THURSDAY, JULY 16, VBS ZOOM RECORDING

FRIDAY, JULY 17, VBS ZOOM RECORDING

Join us for a week of SUPER fun as we experience stories of courage from the Bible! Each day, via Zoom, your Super Hero will get to know how someone from the Bible was able to live with courage in their daily life. We will also explore ways each of us can tap into our own courage and find our own Super Powers!

We will be utilizing Zoom and Facebook (we have created a private Facebook group just for our VBS Super Heroes and their families) to interact with each other and share how we are experiencing God throughout the week. Each day we will start together on Zoom 10-11:30am, experiencing a story about someone in the Bible who chose to be SUPER courageous in a challenging situation. After our story, we will wonder together about the story and talk about how we too can live into that SUPER POWER OF COURAGE (similar to how we experience Godly Play together on Sunday mornings!).

Your child(ren) will also receive a special delivery of SUPER goodies (event supplies) to help them with activities during the week. Some activities will be for your child and some will be for your whole family. There will even be ways to share God’s love with others (in a socially distant way)!

We will also send a Zoom invitation for your child(ren) to join a smaller group of kids a few evenings during the week. During these gatherings, your child(ren) will be able to have deeper conversations and wonder together and build friendships.

So yes, this year’s VBS will be different from years past. But there will still be SUPER music, wonder-filled stories, games, and yes, even a snack! With all of these changes, we know the most important thing remains: God is with each and every one of us, loving us no matter what!
