Super VBS!

Vacation Bible school july 13-17

online via zoom

For Participants

Registration is NOW OPEN for Hilliard UMC’s Super VBS, July 13-17, 2020, online via Zoom. Click HERE to sign up.

Join us for a week of SUPER fun as we experience stories of courage from the Bible! Each day, via Zoom, your Super Hero will get to know how someone from the Bible was able to live with courage in their daily life. We will also explore ways each of us can tap into our own courage and find our own Super Powers!

We will be utilizing Zoom and Facebook (we have created a private Facebook group just for our VBS Super Heroes and their families) to interact with each other and share how we are experiencing God throughout the week.

Your Super Hero will receive a super special delivery of materials to use and enjoy throughout the week in order to fully embrace their VBS experience this year!

If you have a Super Hero ages 4 through 6th grade who is ready to learn how to live in courage, click HERE to register!

For Volunteers

This year, God is calling us to live a life of courage and has given us a beautiful opportunity to do just that through VBS! With the challenges facing each of us during this pandemic, your Children’s Ministry staff has been deep in prayer about how we can make this year’s VBS safely accessible while exercising courage to follow where we feel God is calling us.

So we have created our own VBS, focusing on five different people in the Bible who lived with courage and showed us that everyone can take courageous steps with the grace and love of God.

This year’s VBS will be virtual, with opportunities each day to experience the Bible story and wonder via Zoom. There will also be daily activities designed to engage learners of every style and get their families involved in the fun! We will have a private Facebook group for families to post pictures, videos, or stories of how they are learning about living in courage and building community with each other.

Because we’re online this year, it’s a lot easier to volunteer around your work schedule!

All those volunteering to serve must have completed Safe Sanctuaries training, including background check.

If you are ready to take a step of courage and join us as a Super Hero this year, we would love for you to click HERE and register as a volunteer! If you have questions about volunteering, please contact Lindsay at lrobinson@hilliardumc.org or Nikki at nikki@hilliardumc.org.
