Hilliard Food Pantry Item of the Month (July 2017): canned fruit

Bring donations to the church office, or place in marked containers in each building.

Brown Bag Outreach

Collect nonperishable groceries for the Hilliard Food Pantry and to distribute to families in need in Hilliard.  Year-round, with special Thanksgiving and summertime collections. Contact Ron Speaks. Visit the Hilliard Food Pantry website for more information.

Camp Wesley Cabin Maintenance Project (May 2016)

Several people spent a weekend at Camp Wesley (a United Methodist camp) to repair and renovate one of the cabins.

Early Response Team

With training, help communities clean up and rebuild after natural disasters. Contact Mary Ann Fish to serve.

Habitat for Humanity, Hilliard Adopt-A-House

Partner with other congregations in Northwest Columbus to help build houses in partnership with people in need, raise money and awareness, prepare and/or serve meals for workers, or pray and offer devotional support. Contact Mary Ann Fish to get involved.

Kairos Prison Ministry

A weekend Christian formation experience for family members of those incarcerated in Marion Correctional Institution. Contact Virginia Blasingame or Susan Hurst.

Meals on Wheels

Deliver meals to the homebound in and around Hilliard. Contact Carolyn Bowman to get involved.

Red Cross Bloodmobile

The Red Cross Bloodmobile comes to Hilliard UMC several times a year on Sundays, 8:30am-1:30pm. Even one pint of blood can help many patients. Give blood, welcome donors, help with registration, donate snacks, or help with set up and/or clean up. Contact Christina Shaffer.

Shoebox Outreach

Sponsored by Children’s Ministry, share the love of Christ with children around the world at Christmas by donating small gifts that will fit in a shoebox: school supplies, toys, hygiene items, tee shirts, socks, hair clips, etc. Contact Lindsay Robinson to get involved, or watch for donation bins that time of year.

Thursday Street Feed

Join this dedicated crew of servant volunteers who feed the homeless every Thursday, led by Ron Speaks.

United Methodist Free Store
