Parents have the greatest influence on the faith of their children, more than any youth group event or teaching. You will model and teach faith through your words, your actions, and your every day living. That is exciting and scary at the same time, but you’re not alone during the journey!
Parents of Youth Progressive Luau
Parents of Youth are invited to a Progressive Hawaiian Luau on Saturday, February 6, beginning at 6pm. We’ll start at the Norris’ House, 6051 Heritage Farms Drive, Hilliard 6-7:30pm…then progress to the Sandy’s house. Get ready for exotic foods, games, entertainment, and a Hawaiian shirt contest… complete with prizes! RSVP to Heather at firstname.lastname@example.org or 614-619-2979 by Monday, February 1.
You’re invited to participate in a 7-week parents only class on connecting faith with family through topics like finances, food, community, and more. Can’t make one week? That’s okay- these lessons don’t build on each other and there will be no shaming for missing! Join us Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00pm in The Sanctuary, Worship Space, running from February 3 through March 16. This class will run for 7 weeks, from February 3 through March 16. Childcare and children’s programing is available during the class. Also, join us for the community dinner at 5:30pm in The Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall. Donations are appreciated.
